Our Agribusiness Journey Since 2018

The launch of our agribusiness arm in 2018 marked a strategic shift in how we support local communities. At a time when Somalia faced growing food insecurity, climate-related challenges, and limited access to quality inputs, Greenlife responded with forward-thinking initiatives focused on:

• Greenhouse Farming Technology
  Introducing modern greenhouse systems that allow farmers to grow crops efficiently, with reduced water use and protection from harsh weather, pests, and disease.

• Agro-Input Supply Chain Development
  Ensuring the availability of high-quality seeds, organic fertilizers, biopesticides, and sustainable farming tools through our robust distribution network.

• Farmer Capacity Building
  Providing continuous training, advisory services, and technical support in areas such as integrated pest management (IPM), soil health, composting, and agribusiness management.

Empowering Over 5,000 Farmers and Customers

Greenlife Agribusiness LTD has empowered more than 5,000 customers, including smallholder farmers, youth, and women-led groups across urban and rural areas. Through our SUUBAN Organic Fertilizer Initiative, we recycle organic waste into high-quality compost, reducing environmental impact while enhancing soil fertility. This initiative is a key part of our efforts to promote chemical-free farming and improve climate resilience in Somalia’s agriculture sector.

In addition, our climate-focused programs like the Nabaad Nursery and Greenlife Empower+ aim to provide knowledge, tools, and support for communities adapting to changing climatic conditions.
